Michael M. Pavlovich
Mr. Pavlovich's practice focuses primarily on disputes in the construction and government contracts industries. He has represented contractors, subcontractors, owners, sureties and design professionals in every phase of project development including contract formation, project management during the life of the project and all phases of disputes. He has represented contractors, subcontractors, owners, and design professionals in complex matters involving significant claims for delays, acceleration, inefficiencies, changes, differing site conditions, defective design, and in default and convenience terminations, some of which occurred on large construction projects such as the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and United States Capitol Visitor's Center in Washington, D.C. He has represented clients in both the prosecution of claims and the defense of claims in litigation in both federal and state courts as well as the successful resolution of claims through various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. He has also represented various entities, including a university, in land use and zoning proceedings in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
